Disclaimer, this is not the world’s greatest video ad. However, they are doing best practices that you’re not going to see in some high-end video productions that are burning cash on video ads.
1️⃣ Number one, they’re leading with the benefit. Now, it’s not the most powerful visual. It’s just text. However, text is visual. So the audience is going to be aware of what’s being sold rather than having to wait 10, 15, 20 seconds to be able to build up that story for the audience to understand. By that time on social media, there’s a huge drop off in audience consumption. Hence in this case, they’re doing it right by leading with that text.
2️⃣ Number two, they’re keeping their benefits simple instead of listing every little feature, which to be honest with you, the audience probably doesn’t care about. They’re keeping it as a USB-powered, portable microphone — straight to the point.
3️⃣ Number three, they’re able to give you good product visuals by just using images. They’re not spending a lot for videography to have a full spectrum. For a low budget, they’re able to get a decent turn on results rather than spending 5, 10, $15,000 on a video that just ultimately flops.
