Samsung Ad Review: How to fix this paid social ad

Check out our Samsung Ad Review right here to learn how to improve this social ad. Also, Happy National Selfie Day!

Samsung is not shining the light with this paid social ad for their S22 series. Here are three reasons why.

1️⃣ Number one, the video throws you into a scenario with very little context. So when she says “it just turns on when it gets dark enough,” what is she talking about? You find out later in about the seventh or eighth second. But if you want the audience to pay attention, you also have to simplify it so they’ll be able to understand and want to know what the benefit is.

2️⃣ Number two, and this is an easy one because Facebook will do it for you, put captions. This will allow the audience to have a sound off experience. At the end of the day, you always want to make sure that you’re able to blend sound off with sound on as best as you possibly can.

3️⃣ Number three, their visualization of their benefit is weak. We don’t know if that’s a good or bad picture. However, if you put a side by side comparison, you will be able to notice the difference and you’ll be able to notice how powerful that benefit actually is.
